Sound and Motion:
Remix
For a remix of the week, I was paying a lot of attention to sounds and features of the natural environment vs synthetic or human-made materials. The animation switches back and forth between these elements. I used a combination of video frames that were printed out and drawn over, along with stop motion collage, and other hand drawn doodles. Some of the sounds are from a sound library and the rest are field recordings from voice memos (things like crinkling receipts, airplane sounds overhead, flicking a lighter, and crushing an aluminum can.)
