Chicago Signs & Symbols Volume I

2024

Chicago Signs and Symbols Volume I is a collaborative zine project made under the model of DIT (do-it-together.)  This publication asks:

  • What makes Chicago signs unique?
  • How are signs cultural indicators of our social realities?
  • What can be understood about Chicago’s past, present, and future through semiotics?
  • How do you see yourself reflected in the signs around you?
